Meet David Gladman from Goondiwindi

What got you into interested in IT?
Helping people. I just seemed to understand the logic behind computers/software which gave me a buzz.

Where do you see the IT world in 10 years?
It’s hard to say as there are so many technical advancements such as quantum computing, but it will depend on the big end of town.

What is the most common thing your clients ask you?
When can we have that?

What has surprised you most about working in the IT industry?
It’s surprising and very enjoyable with the amount of client interaction we have on a daily basis.

What do you love about working with Dorchester?
The ability to make a few calls and gather the thoughts of 60 plus years of experience across a variety of industries.

What do you like doing when you’re not working?
Outside family time, I would say trying to keep fit.

First experience that you can remember with a computer?
Ti99 (Texas Instruments) which you plugged into the TV and saved hand written programs to a tape deck.

Favourite sport or all-star team?
Goondiwindi Emus (Rugby Union)

What is something you have always wanted to try?
Winning lotto, just once.

What is the last TV season that you watched?
Sherlock (BBC)

What food have you eaten too much of in your life?
Anything from the bakery (or Japan)
